Tan and White; Male; American Bulldog Mix; 5-6 months; will grow to be 75-90lbs
My name is Rolo, and I am tan and white American Bulldog mix with cute little black smudges on my snout! Like many young puppies, I was an adorable little ball of fluff! But when I got bigger (and still wasn’t trained) I found myself in the shelter. Apparently stuff that’s cute when you are tiny isn’t so cute once you are a little bigger! If someone had just taught me what to do, maybe I wouldn’t have ended up in the shelter. Fortunately, I was selected to take part in a prison dog training program at New Leash on Life USA! And they’re showing me how to be a good house-dog so that doesn’t happen again! I love to play with my toys and my inmate trainers are teaching me what toys are appropriate to chew on (Kongs Yay!) and which ones are not (like shoes)! I’m also learning other good dog stuff like sit, down, stay, and come, and how to play nicely with other dogs. From what they say, I’m very food motivated. I think that means I like to eat! But even more than eating, I love to curl up with a human and relax. So if you want a loveable young dog with a moderate energy level, I’m your pup! I would love to have a human or canine sibling, heck, I probably wouldn’t even mind living with a cat! But of course, I would have to meet all family members before we decide if it’s a love connection!
